I was born July 10, 2004, in May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica, and raised in the seaside community of Rocky Point. I was named Dane Phlisianao Facey Jr. after my father, so I went by “DJ” to tell us apart. That nickname became part of who I am—and eventually, my stage name.
Dancehall is at the root of my sound, shaped by my Jamaican upbringing and Canada's diverse music culture. I move naturally across Caribbean music, Afrobeats, Latin, R&B, hip-hop, house, and more. I read the room, follow the energy, and build every set around the people in front of me, making every night feel different and every set memorable.
